Freezing rows in Excel is a useful feature that allows you to keep certain rows visible while you scroll through the rest of your spreadsheet.
Open Your Excel Spreadsheet– Open your Excel file where you want to freeze the rows.
Select the Row Below the Row You Want to Freeze– Click on the row number on the left side to select the entire row. For example, if you want to freeze the first row, select the second row.
– Navigate to the View TabGo to the top of the Excel window and click on the "View" tab in the ribbon.
Freeze Panes– In the "View" tab, find the "Freeze Panes" drop-down menu. Click on it to see the options
Choose the Appropriate Option– Select "Freeze Panes" from the drop-down menu. This will freeze all the rows above the row you selected.– If you want to freeze just the top row, you can directly select "Freeze Top Row" from the drop-down menu.
Verify the Rows are FrozenScroll down your spreadsheet. The rows above the frozen pane should remain visible.
