Clearing Cache in Google Chrome: A Step-by-Step Guide

Open Google Chrome: Ensure you have Google Chrome open on your device.

Access Settings: Click on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner of the browser window to open the menu. From the dropdown menu, select "Settings."

Navigate to Privacy and Security: – In the left-hand sidebar, click on "Privacy and security."

Open Clear Browsing Data:Click on "Clear browsing data." This will open a new window.

Choose Time Range: – In the "Time range" dropdown menu, select the period for which you want to clear the cache. Options include "Last hour," "Last 24 hours," "Last 7 days," "Last 4 weeks," and "All time."

Select Cached Images and Files: – Ensure the checkbox for "Cached images and files" is selected. You can also choose to clear other data like browsing history and cookies if needed.

Clear Data: – Click on the "Clear data" button. This will begin the process of clearing the cache.
