How to Port Jio to BSNL

Step 1: Generate Unique Porting Code (UPC)

From your Jio number, send an SMS to 1900.

You will receive an SMS reply from 1901 containing your Unique Porting Code (UPC).

Step 2: Visit a BSNL Store or Authorized Retailer

Find the nearest BSNL Customer Service Center (CSC) or an authorized BSNL retailer.

Fill out the Customer Application Form (CAF)

At the store, request a Customer Application Form (CAF) for Mobile Number Portability

Step 3: Submit Documents and CAF

Provide Necessary Documents - Aadhaar, Voter ID, Passport, etc

Step 4: Obtain a New BSNL SIM

After the verification process, you will be provided with a new BSNL SIM card.

Step 5: Wait for Porting Confirmation

The porting process usually takes about 7 working days

Step 6: Activate Your New BSNL SIM

Once you receive the confirmation SMS about the successful porting, insert your new BSNL SIM card into your phone.
